I was tasked to spearhead the visuals and creative for a campaign that would announce the launch of Spiff’s new and improved Designer product, which solves the most pressing problems facing finance teams and enables the shift from traditional finance to modern commission management. To maximize the impact of the campaign, our team coupled this release with the announcement of Spiff’s $50M Series C fundraise led by Salesforce Ventures.
The messaging for the campaign centered around the tagline “Spiff. Built for modern commission management.” The graphics were inspired by square pixels; representing bits of data that “build” to form an image. Up close, digital images appear complex andabstract (broken down into pixels) but when you step back look at them as a whole, a complete and clear picture emerges. This represents the idea that Spiff’s commission builder is rooted in power, yet is easy to use; it simplifies complex processes and presents a clear picture for customers. Visually, this concept also played off of Spiff’s shape motifs, a signature of the visual identity, while still feeling like a new and differentiated campaign.
In the first week, efforts from this campaign resulted in a 23% increase in website traffic (compared to previous average weekly sessions), a 12% improvement in website conversion rate, 86% increase in form submissions, and 72% increase in MQLs.
